DOÑA JOSEFA PISCO ARTESANAL
A beautiful family tradition of the Elqui Valley
For 20 years, Agrotourism Doña Josefa receives visitors, showing them their elaborate products, made with ancient recipes within the family business. The Aliaga family of Pisco Elqui, formed by Don José Aliaga and his wife Doña Graciela Aguierre, founded this noble tradition. They selected "Moscatel Pedro Jiménez" and "Rosada Pastilla" grapes, organically grown in the Elqui Valley. These grapes are very tasty. After destillation the pisco ripes in oak barrels. The final product is a great home-made pisco "artesanal", exclusive and of course limited.
The pisco won the gold medal "Cata d'or Wine Awards 2017".
Tours showing the production process of the "Pisco Artesanal Doña Josefa de Elqui", tasting of two different varieties of pisco, terrace to taste varieties of sours, family-friendly, beautifully located between wineyards.
