CORONAVIRUS NEWS - November 2020
The Organización Turística Valle de Elqui informs all tourists:

The tourist region of Paihuano and the upper Elqui Valley is working. You are welcome!
The re-opening of the local tourism is a challenge for all of us. To prevent new infections we ask you to wear a mask in all public places, hostels, hotels and restaurant, as well as maintaining social distance and washing your hands with frequency.
Every resort or provider uses its own restrictions - please respect them in order to enjoy your stay as much as possible.

We are located in the upper part of the mystical Elqui Valley, about 100 kms from La Serena, at an altitude between 1000 and 1700 mtrs above sea level, in the middle of the precordillera of the Andes.
Pisco Elqui is the touristic center of our region, but the villages of Paihuano, Montegrande, Horcón and Alcohuaz are charming as well.

Due to our microclimate, we can enjoy more than 300 sunny days a year!
Even in winter times temperatures during the day reach 17 - 27°C - if you want to escape cold and wet days - visit our valley!
